What began as a quiet, underused corner of the home became an opportunity to create a defining architectural element.
The existing fireplace lacked presence and connection to the room. The redesign introduced a custom composition of natural stone, warm wood, and integrated cabinetry, transforming the fireplace into a sculptural focal point while adding function and visual warmth.
The design balances the permanence of stone with the richness of wood, creating contrast without competing with the architecture of the room. Custom built-ins extend the fireplace into the surrounding wall, giving the composition a sense of continuity and purpose.
The result is more than a fireplace—it becomes an architectural anchor for the room, bringing texture, warmth, and character to an otherwise overlooked space.
