Full Service Interior Design

from initial concept through final installation, I guide the entire design process—bringing together space, materials, lighting, furnishings, and details to create a home that feels both beautiful and distinctly yours.

Design Consultations

Expert design guidance when you don't need full-service design. Consultations can focus on a specific room, decision, or design challenge and may be scheduled for a single day or for as many hours as your project requires.

FAQ

How long does a full design project typically take?
Most full-service projects run 3–6 months from initial consultation through final installation, depending on scope. Larger renovations, or projects involving embassy or government level coordination, can take longer; we'll map out a realistic timeline together at the start.

What's the difference between a full-service project and a design consultation?
Full-service means Moji manages the entire process; concept, sourcing, vendor and contractor coordination, and installation; start to finish. A consultation is a focused session or a few, giving you expert direction and a plan you can execute yourself, at your own pace.

Do you work with my existing contractor or architect, or can you recommend one?
Both. I'm glad to collaborate with a team you already have in place, and I’m happy to recommend well established architects and contractors if you're starting from scratch.

Do you take on projects outside the Sarasota area?
Yes. In addition to Sarasota, I work with clients throughout Bradenton, Longboat Key, Siesta Key, Casey Key, and the surrounding Gulf Coast. I also continue to serve clients in the Washington, D.C. metro area and travel for the right project.

How does pricing work, and when do we discuss budget?
Pricing for design services is scoped individually, based on the size and complexity of each project. Your budget for the project itself is something we discuss upfront, during your consultation, so every recommendation stays aligned with what you're comfortable investing.

Can you incorporate furniture and décor I already own?
Absolutely — some of the most meaningful spaces I've designed blend cherished existing pieces with new additions. Bring what you love; we'll build around it.

What should I prepare before our first conversation?
A few photos of the space, any inspiration images you're drawn to, a rough sense of budget and timeline, and a short list of must haves are all helpful, but not required. We can also start with just a conversation.

How involved do I need to be once the design work begins?
As much or as little as you'd like. Some clients enjoy weighing in on every selection; others prefer to step back and trust the process, with regular check-ins along the way. Either way, I'll keep you informed at every stage.
